What's Included
Every EICR includes a full visual inspection of accessible wiring and the consumer unit, dead and live testing of every circuit, earth loop impedance testing, insulation resistance testing, RCD trip-time testing, and a written certificate detailing any findings with their classification codes.
What Can Add to the Cost
- Properties with more circuits than the standard allowance for their size (extensions, converted lofts, outbuildings on their own supply)
- Restricted access — a locked loft hatch, furniture blocking the consumer unit, or similar
- Remedial work to fix any C1 or C2 findings — this is always quoted separately once we know what's needed, never bundled into a surprise final bill
